July 05, 2008 12:02 am ESSEX — A motor vehicle accident occurred on Eastern Avenue at 3:40 p.m. Thursday. A Ford Focus rear ended a Fort Ranger. The Ford Focus was towed and its driver, Winchester resident Christine Ockerbloom, 18, was cited for following too closely to another vehicle. r A Main Street resident was taken by the fire department to Beverly Hospital at 4:30 p.m. yesterday. An electric tea pot overflowed and burnt the person's hand.
