Called to court

Three Gloucester boys are each facing a charge of malicious destruction of property after they allegedly broke a window at CVS on Main Street.

Eric C. Eaton, 17, of 10R Knowlton Square, and two 15-year-old Gloucester boys were summonsed to court on the charges. Eaton is facing an additional charge of disorderly conduct.

Police were called to CVS at 1:30 a.m. yesterday on reports that a window was broken. Witnesses told police they saw four teens running from the scene. Police caught up to the teens on Rogers Street and two ran off. The two 15-year-old boys were taken into custody and police recognized Eaton as the third suspect. One of the 15-year-old boys had a cut on his finger; he told police he dropped a manhole cover on it.

A short time later, Eaton was taken into custody at his Knowlton Street home. According to police reports, Eaton was disorderly and none of the three boys in custody would tell police what happened or identify the fourth suspect.

Arrest

Jason R. Siano, 27, of 22 Columbia St., was arrested yesterday on an outstanding warrant for providing alcohol to minors.

The charges against Siano stem from a June 26 incident where he allegedly bought alcohol for two Gloucester girls, who were transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital after being found passed out and intoxicated at Stage Fort Park during Fiesta.

Incidents

Police were called to Poplar Street at 4:20 p.m. Sunday for reports of an unwelcome guest. The guest left when police arrived.

A Gloucester man reported to police at 8:30 p.m. Sunday that his car was broken into while parked in the Good Harbor Beach parking lot. According to police reports, two purses hidden under a towel in the back seat were stolen. Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A Main Street man was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital by rescue squad at 11:35 p.m. Sunday.

A High Popples Road man reported to police at 6 a.m. yesterday that a shed in his backyard was broken into sometime overnight. According to police reports, more than $400 worth of tools were stolen from the shed.

A resident of the Heights of Cape Ann had rocks thrown at his car's windshield causing to cracks sometime Sunday night or Monday morning.

A Washington Street man reported to police that his SUV was broken into while parked on Spring Street sometime Sunday night or Monday morning. Four fishing rods were stolen from the vehicle and a rear side window was broken.
