Gloucester Seafood Display Auction

The Gloucester Seafood Display Auction handled 119,500 pounds of fish on Monday

The average price per pound of the top five species sold:

Haddock scrod: 35,400 pounds (79 cents)

Pollock: 20,700 pounds (42 cents)

Market cod: 18,000 pounds ($1.09 cents)

Medium pollock: 11,800 pounds (41 cents)

Haddock: 11,300 pounds ($1.66)

Other landings

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 123,300 pounds of fish yesterday.

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in Boston handled 19,400 pounds of fish yesterday.

No landings were reported yesterday by the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 30,000 pounds of fish Thursday.
