The average price per pound of the top five species sold: Pollock: 2,500 pounds (65 cent) Market cod: 2,100 pounds ($2.35) Scaler: 1,400 pounds ($1.89) Striped bass: 1,200 pounds ($3.89) Blackbacks: 600 pounds ($2.20) Other landings The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 102,300 pounds of fish yesterday. The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in Boston handled 10,700 pounds of fish yesterday. No landings were reported yesterday by the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
