A Salisbury woman was sentenced to jail time by Judge Joseph Jennings in Gloucester District Court for breaking into two Gloucester homes on Oct. 1.
Kerri A. Baez, 33, of 56 Railroad Ave., Salisbury, pleaded guilty to two counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of possessing burglary tools and one count of larceny. She was sentenced to a year in jail with four months to be served and the balance suspended for one year.
Baez was arrested earlier this month for breaking into two Gloucester homes, one on Myrtle Square and the other on Commonwealth Avenue. Baez stole a laptop computer and two cameras from the Commonwealth Avenue home and was found in possession of a screwdriver and a crow bar.
Jeremiah R. Sullivan, 30, of 26 Chestnut St., Gloucester, was sentenced to a six-month suspended jail sentence by Judge Jennings after pleading guilty to charges of driving under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and heroin possession stemming from a February incident.
Juan Delvalle, 25, of 21 Pacific St., Lynn, had charges of carrying a dangerous weapon and driving to endanger continued without a finding for 18 months. Delvalle was also sentenced to six months pretrial probation on cocaine possession charges.
Delvalle was arrested by state police on Route 128 after he was observed driving 80 mph in the 25 mph construction zone on the northbound side. He was then found in possession of cocaine, and a 4-inch knife was found in a center cup holder of his car.
Stephen A. Mione, 31, of 105 Prospect St., Gloucester, was sentenced to one-year pretrial probation on assault and battery charges.
Mione was arrested in June after he attempted to throw a woman overboard from his house boat, which was docked at Little River on Essex Avenue. According to police reports, Mione admitted to trying to throw the woman overboard but stopped when he realized he could go to jail for it.
