ROCKPORT — The Fire Department responded to School Street at 5:39 p.m. Thursday after reports of a strong chemical odor in the area. Firefighters were unable to find a problem and cleared the scene.
Rescuers transported a Gott Avenue woman to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester at 7:21 Thursday morning.
