By Patrick Anderson
Staff Writer

A worker who fell from the roof of the Pond View Village housing complex in West Gloucester was flown by helicopter to a Boston hospital this morning.

The man's, name, age and the nature of his injuries were not immediately available.

Deputy Fire Chief Steve Aiello said paramedics at the scene determined that the man's injuries were consistent with a Level 1 trauma and the nearest Level 1 centers are in Boston.

The helicopter landed and picked up the victim at Stage Fort Park.
