ESSEX — The Farm Bar & Grille, the target of a series of noise complaints from neighbors, received another visit from police Friday night.

Police reports indicated that a noise complaint was issued against a "Western Avenue establishment" at 11:55 p.m. Friday. Police spoke with the owners who agreed to turn the music down. The Farm is the only Western Avenue business that offers music. This was preceded by a visit at 11:28 p.m. the night before.

On Monday at 6:17 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Patriots Landing. Police responded but found nothing.

Police received two calls about dogs barking at 12:25 a.m. Monday on Western Avenue. Apparently the dogs were stuck outside, and the owner was contacted and let the dogs back in.

A man injured on Southern Avenue at Main Street during Turkey Trot road race on Sunday at 1:19 p.m. was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital.

At 3:11 a.m. Sunday, police investigated suspicious behavior behind Woodman's Restaurant.

Fire responded to a smoke alarm on Grove Street on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The residents accidently burnt some food.

At 5:07 p.m. Saturday, a female employee at a Main Street business passed out and was transported to Beverly Hospital.

A male was transported from Winthrop Street to Beverly Hospital at 2:01 p.m. Saturday.

Police receive a complaint on Saturday that someone was throwing salt on a plant on at Pond Street residence at 8:27 a.m.

At 3:03 a.m. Saturday, an ambulance responded to a Main Street residence for medical aid. The patient refused transport.

Police and fire responded to a Choate Street residence at 11:30 p.m. Friday. A female was transported to Beverly Hospital.
