To the editor,
State Rep. Verga recently announced his intention to seek re-election. From what I've heard, he is a well respected, knowledgeable, active member in the Statehouse. To replace such an individual would likely set us back years.
I find it hard to fathom the idea that there is anyone out there that would venture into unfamiliar territories and try to unseat such a person. Whether for or against the war, Representative Verga has made it his mission to help those individuals embroiled in this conflict.
When I had difficulties with the Veterans Administration, Rep. Verga joined me at the table with VA representatives. His "clout" helped immensely.
I urge constituents of his to weigh in on the fact that they have a strong voice willing to speak for them.
