Letter to the editor

To the editor:

We live in an "unreal world." Jesus shows us the real world. He was a man who bridged the gap between God and man. Through himself he gave man a vision of God. We should not hate life, but love life. Through the Sermon on the Mount, we are told that however little we accomplish in life, we can love life. God, as creator, gave us something to love — life — in the best sense of the word. If we follow what God wants us to do — as we see it in Jesus — we understand that we can live a life of love, as Jesus wants us to see it in God.

The ideal of that desired life rests in us as a joyous, ecstatic purpose we strive to serve. We suffer, sometimes we suffer deeply, but we never lose sight of our fulfillment as we pass on to the eternity which God has for us, an eternity which we begin to see here!
