IPSWICH - Alan Earl MacMillan, 85, retired railroad construction engineer, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008 in Houston, after suffering a stroke Oct. 5, 2007.
Born in Cambridge, Mass., April 23, 1922, he was the son of Earl Burton MacMillan of New York and Mabel Paxton Cooke of Shipston-on-Stour, England.
