GROTON - Edward M. Harnish, 81, of 113 Warner St., Groton, passed away on Sunday evening, Jan. 27, 2008 at Avalon in Stonington.
He was born in Gloucester, on July 9, 1926, the son of Samuel F. and Viola E. Amaral Harnish. Ed was married to Madeline M. Farrell on Sept. 1, 1951 in Gloucester. She died Sept. 4, 1996.
