High School Coaches
Coaches are asked to call the Gloucester Daily Times sports department, at 978-283-7000, ext. 3450, to report results and box scores from each night's games. Please call as early as possible after the game concludes.
Football
The National Football League Junior Player Development Program will be held at Gloucester High School from July 14-18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Boys and girls ages 11 to 14 are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Paul Ingram at pingram@gloucester.k12.ma.us.
Basketball

Soccer
The Cape Ann Calcio adult 7-on-7 league is looking for individuals and teams. The spring season will begin on May 18 and the summer league will start on July 10. Baseball
The Gloucester Senior Babe Ruth baseball team will hold tryouts on Saturday, May 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at O'Maley Field. If it rains, the make up date will be Sunday, May 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eligible players can't be 19-year-old before May 1, 2008 and must be 15-years-old as of May 1, 2008. Cape Ann Senior Babe Ruth tryouts will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Field in Essex. Players born after May 1, 1988 are eligible if residing in Rockport, Manchester or Essex. In case of inclement weather, tryouts
