Coaches

Coaches are asked to call the Gloucester Daily Times sports department, at 978-283-7000, ext. 3450, to report results and box scores from each night's games. Please call as early as possible after the game concludes.

Radio Sports

Gloucester High football star Anthony Enderle will talk about his appearance in the 48th annual Agganis All-Star Football Classic this Saturday on the "North Shore Sports Desk" on North Shore 104.9 FM from 8-9 a.m. Other featured guests on this week's show include Beverly High girls soccer and girls lacrosse all-star Alyssa Accomando, as well as North Shore Golf author Gary Larrabee. Texas Hold'em

The second annual JJ Nicastro Texas Hold'em Tournament and Live Auction will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13. The buy-in will $75 for early registration and $100 at the door. The Riverdale Rockets will hold football and cheerleading registrations at the Sandy Tucker Memorial Concession at the O'Maley Field on Friday, Aug. 1 (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.); Saturday, Aug. 2 (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.); Friday, Aug. 8 (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.); and Saturday, Aug. 9 (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.). The Chargers Youth Football program will hold football and cheerleading registration for children in grade 2-8 on Friday, Aug 1 (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.); Saturday, Aug. 2 (9 a.m. to noon); Friday, Aug. 8 (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.); and Saturday, Aug. 9 (9 a.m. to noon). The Gloucester Raiders will be holding football and cheerleading registrations on Friday, Aug. 1 and Friday, Aug. 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 2 and Saturday, Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gloucester Police Station. Manchester Essex Junior Hornets Football will hold sign-ups at the Manchester Community Center on Friday, August 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, August 2 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Registration fees are as follows: cheerleaders ($75); football D Team (ages 7 and 8, $75); C Team (ages 8 and 9), B Team (ages 10 and 11) and A Team (ages 12 and 13) are all $125.
