Syndicated —

Since the beginning of "The Bachelor" franchise, 16 men have popped the question, claiming to have "found love" on the show. But what ABC does not advertise is that only two couples have stayed together long enough to tie the knot. Surprisingly the 13 percent marriage rate does not deter viewers. E! Online reported that 8.6 million people tuned in Sunday night to watch "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard's final rose ceremony.

So who is mastermind creating these captivating couples?
