Rivalry heating
If Pittsburgh Penguin fans wanted Mike Milbury fired from NBC for his "controversial" comments towards NHL face Sidney Crosby, they're likely to want Philadelphia Flyers assistant coach Craig Berube, a former NHLer, sentenced to life without parole.
Yesterday, Berbube was highly critical of Crosby and his teammate, Evgeni Malkin. Both are regarded as two of the best players in the world.
"They slash, they punch guys in the face, they do all these little things," said Berube. "I got no problem with what (Flyer Brayden) Schenn does, and if somebody runs (Crosby) over, that's great, they should run him over. This guy gets away with too much in my opinion, whines to the refs all day and all night, it's a joke."
Milbury's comments to a Philadelphia radio station after a line brawl between the Penguins and Flyers over the weekend set off a firestorm in which Milbury was ultimately forced to apologize. Local papers called for his firing. He said:
"Crosby gets cross-checked, big whoop. He said after he came back from his 35th concussion, 'I'm not going to do this anymore, I'm not going to get into those scrums, I'm going to stay away from that stuff' but he couldn't help himself because there is a little punk in Crosby. He's not the perfect gentleman, he's not that little sweet kid you see in all those interviews with his hat pulled down over his eyes. I say screw him, hit him."

Gregg Williams career as an NFL coach may be over. On Thursday audio recordings were released of Williams before this year's Divisional Playoff game against San Francisco telling his players to go after the heads of Frank Gore, Kyle Williams and Alex Smith.
Looks like this situation is worse then we thought and Williams should never coach in the league again. Football is a violent game, but trying to intentionally injure players should have no place in the game.
