The Fishermen (0-3) nearly pulled off their first win of the young season but fell just shy in a heartbreaking 15-13 defeat at the hands of Salem Tuesday at Newell Stadium.
The Gloucester offense was led by Melodie Orrell who scored five goals. Caity O'Leary (3 goals), Kelly Forster (2 goals, assist), Hayley Labrecque (2 goals, 2 assists), and Julienne Orrell (goal, assist) all had multi point games for Gloucester.
Head coach Amanda Barker also praised the defensive play of Sara Sidlowski.
