Coaches

Coaches are asked to call the Gloucester Daily Times sports department, at 978-283-7000, ext. 3444, to report results and box scores from each night's games. Please call as early as possible after the game concludes.

Coaching Vacancies

Gloucester High School is looking for both girls and boys freshman soccer coaches as well as a JV girls field hockey coach. Please contact Athletic Director Kim Patience at 978-281-9877 if interested.

Little Kiddies Track

The Little Kiddies Track program is underway and will continue through the summer at the O'Maley Track at 6 p.m. The program is open for 5-8 year olds but 9, 10 and 11 year olds may also participate depending on numbers. The program is presented by the Gloucester Parks and Rec. Dept. and Cambridge 7 Associates. There is no fee.

RunGloucester!

Online registration is currently underway for the second annual RunGloucester! 7-Mile Road Race. This year's race will take place Sunday, Aug. 21 on scenic Cape Ann in Gloucester. Runners can register at www.rungloucester.com for one of New England's newest and most picturesque road races.

2nd Annual GHS Boys Basketball Clinic

The 2nd Annual Gloucester High School Basketball Clinic will take place July 25-28 from 6-9 p.m. at the fieldhouse at Gloucester High. The cost is $65. For more information please contact GHS boys basketball head coach Bill Cahill at 508-284-8170.

Gloucester Fishermen Triathlon

The 3rd Annual sprint triathlon will take place Sunday, August 7, 2011. Registration is now open at: http://www.gloucesterfishermantri.com. The Gloucester Fisherman Tri is offering a discount to all active Military Personnel. Please e-mail info@triandduit.com for the code.
