Crunch Time

Fight Night

Saturday night television and pay per view lineup is a fight fans dream as the UFC will be going head to head with boxing's biggest name Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The UFC will air live on Fox at 8:00 p.m Saturday with Nate Diaz and Jim Miller squaring off in the main event.

After the UFC show airs, a pay per view boxing showdown between Mayweather and Miguel Cotto will begin.

Both events have big name fights on the undercards as well.

Smith Uncertain

The Atlanta Hawks were dealt a big blow late in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with the Celtics Tuesday's when Josh Smith left the game with a knee injury. It was revealed that the Hawks do everything, athletic power forward strained a tendon in his left knee and his status for Fridays game 3 at the TD Garden is up in the air.

Smith would be a huge loss for the Hawks as he is a matchup nightmare for anybody in the league given his mix of size and athleticism. He is one of the Hawks best defenders, rebounders and shot blockers. The Celtics thrived with Smith on the bench in their 87-80 win in Atlanta Tuesday.

Gaffney a Patriot

The Patriots are bringing back another familiar face at the wide receiver position in Jabbar Gaffney, who agreed to a two year deal with the team. Gaffney last played for the Patriots in 2006 and he was one of Tom Brady's favorite targets that season.

Gaffney, who was with the Redskins last year, looks to compete for the No. 2 outside receiver slot with opposite Brandon Lloyd.
