Gloucester 19 Revere 41 (Boys)
The Gloucester boys got into the win column with a resounding win over the Patriots at Ravenswood Park Tuesday take six of the top seven spots. The win moves Gloucester to 1-2 on the year.
Willy Pierce led the way for Gloucester with a first place finish followed by Everest Crawford in second and Matt Ciaramitaro in third. Wyatt Ronan finished fifth, Dillon Genovese sixth and Kyle Mailey seventh.
Gloucester 21 Revere 40 (Girls)
Gloucester (1-2) picked up its first win of the year with a win in Northeastern Conference action Tuesday.
Carly Curcuru led the way for Gloucester with a first place finish and a time of 19:30. Sabrina Marnoto and Kacie Quinn were the next Gloucester finishers coming in third (19:55) and fourth (20:17) respectively.
Melanie MacDonald (6th, 21:44), Corinne DeLouise (7th, 22:08) and Chloe Kenyon (8th, 22:15) also turned in points for Gloucester.
Rockport 1 Saugus 0
The Vikings picked up a big win on Tuesday and move closer to the .500 mark improving to 3-4.
Rushy Sweet scored the winning goal with six minutes to play on a pass from Shelby Battistelli, who drew praise from head coach Mary Ryan for her play in the midfield.
Heather MacArthur, Eliza Ottenheimer and Lydia Sweetser also had strong games for the Vikings.
Manchester Essex 5 Swampscott 1
The Hornets (3-2-1) picked up a big win against a strong Swampscott team on the road Tuesday.
Rob Bilsbury’s squad countered the aggressive Big Blue nicely and broke out to a comfortable 3-0 first half lead.
George Lantz had a monster game for Manchester Essex with three goals and an assist. Lucas Firme had a pair of goals, Ollie Hull a pair of assists and Jack Hay an assist. Bilsbury also praised the play of center midfielder Parker Edington and Hull for their work on both the offensive and defensive end along with goal keeper Alex Taliaferro.

The Hornets move to 5-1 on the year with an outstanding performance on Tuesday turning in their highest score of the season.
Ben Bichet led all scorers with 34 points while Mike Fuca and Petey Morton also had big days with 30 points each. Cam Tuttle scored 29 points, Will Burgess 27 and Alex Beckmann 25.

Rockport (1-6) had strong performances from Kyle Nelson (27 points) and Abby Hood (25 points). Ethan Tanson turned in 16 points and Peter Longoria 12.
