The Vikings move to 4-1 on the year with the resounding win and remain atop the Cape Ann League Small standings.
Rockport put the game away with a four goal explosion in the first half and it never looked back. Shaun Aspesi led the way for Rockport with two goals and two assists, Andrew Waynrynen had a goal and a pair of assists, Jon Ferrante had two assists, Mike McCarthy and Matthew Tibert each scored a goal while Sam Roell had an assist.
The Vikings dominated play in the midfield with Ferrante, Roell, Nick Davis and Dillon Vecchione leading the way.

Gloucester (0-3-1) played the Magicians tough allowing a goal early in the second half and in the final seconds of the game.
Sabrina Maciel played well in goal, Kenna O’Maley and Lauren Benchoff powered the defense.

The Hornets (4-1) move into first place in the Cape Ann League Small with the win. Ben Bichet led all scorers with 29 points. Kevin Carter and Petey Morton each scored 27 points, Mike Fuca had 26, Troy Ciaramitaro scored 25 and Justin Eichenberger had 23 points.

The Fishermen fall to 2-4 on the year as Swampscott avenged an early season loss thanks to a strong day on the grens.
Freshman Eric Chalmers picked up Gloucester’s only win of the afternoon, 7-2 at the No. 6 spot sparked by a birdie on the fourth hole. Curtis Quinn halved his match at the No. 1 spot.

The Vikings fall to 1-4 with the loss but had a much improved performance over their last match. Abby Hood led all scorers with 26 points shooting a one over par 36. Joe Muzio had 22 points, Kyle Nelson 18 and Jameson Kamm 16.
