Crunch Time

Gloucester Daily Times

---- — Not Optimistic

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Danny Amendola were each listed as questionable to play for Sunday’s game in Atlanta on the team’s official injury report released on Friday. But multiple media outlets have reported that both Gronkowski and Amendola are likely to miss Sunday’s game.

Both players were limited participants in practice this week and were each listed questionable for last week’s games as well. Amendola’s only action was in Week 1 against Buffalo where he caught 10 passes, Gronkowski has yet to make his 2013 debut.

With quarterback Tom Brady’s top two weapons most likely inactive again, the Patriots will once again have to rely on their crop of rookies, and that just may not be enough against a team like the Falcons.

Celtics Radio

The Boston Celtics radio broadcasts can now be heard on 98.5 the Sports Hub, as the team switched over from WEEI.

Now that the Celtics are on board, 98.5 broadcasts three of Boston’s big four sports teams in the Celtics, Patriots and Bruins. The Red Sox are the only local pro franchise that still broadcasts on WEEI.

More Indictments

The fiancee of former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on perjury charges in connection with the murder Hernandez has been charged with.

Shayanna Jenkins, 24, is now the fifth person indicted in connection with the murder of Odin Lloyd. Hernandez, who was released by the Patriots after being charged with Lloyd’s murder, remains in jail awaiting trial.

Three others are also facing charges in the case.
