The Fishermen (5-6-4) failed to pick up a point in a key NEC crossover game dropping their record below the .500 mark and are currently out of tournament contention. Gloucester still needs six points in its final five games, all against NEC North squads that the Fishermen put up a 1-4-1 record against the first time around.

The same problems that have plagued Gloucester all year plagued them on Wednesday as they came out of the gates slow digging itself into a 2-0 first period hole. The team could not stay out of the penalty box with six first period infractions and despite outshooting the Magicians Gloucester could not muster up a point.

Mike Muniz played well on defense for Gloucester as did goalie Jessie Glidden. Austin Haley, Ty Bates and Liam Gillis scored for the Magicians.

The Vikings (4-9) had trouble with the aggressive Gryphons. Abby Hood led the scoring with eight points, Rachel Hasselgard chipped in seven.
