Rockport hockey moves to 4-0

The Vikings continue to stay hot and light the lamp with a dominant win over a Commonwealth Athletic Conference rival. Mike Tupper led the way for Rockport with two goals and an assist while line-mate John Tucker had a pair of assists. Mike Foster, Beau Gauther and Conor Douglass also scored for Rockport, goalie Colby Foster made 19 saves in the win.

The Vikings fall to 1-3 finishing off a tough showing in the Bank Gloucester Holiday Tournament. Tucker Meredith led Rockport with 12 points and was named a tournament all star. Freshman Conor Kuykendall and Mike McCarthy had eight and seven points respectively.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

The Hornets improve to 2-3 on the year with the win in the Ipswich Holiday Tournament consolation round. Ella Silag-Stearns led Manchester Essex with 14 points and was named to the all tournament team in the process. Evy Weihs, Mia Heath and Leanne Ciccone had eight points each, Carolyn Heslop chipped in seven.
