The Patriots have been accused of a lot of transgressions in the past. From gloating over a playoff win in San Diego to regularly running up the score on teams, the Patriots have had it all thrown at them.
But on Friday the Dolphins may have topped them all when it comes to criticizing the Patriots. Dolphins players told the Palm Beach Post they were reportedly disrespected by the way the Patriots continued to run the same play on its 16 play 77 yard 7:18 drive that essentially clinched a win for the Pats last Sunday.
“It really (ticked) me off. It was disrespectful to us to run the same play over and over and be successful,” defensive tackle Tony McDaniel told the Palm Beach Post. “Normally when somebody’s driving down the field you just think, ‘Well, they just had a good run there,’ but you run the same play over and over, as a competitor that (ticks) me off.”

Chargers clean house
It was a long time coming, but the Chargers are finally going to fire head coach Norv Turner and general manager A.J. Smith. The two will be let go after the season ends.
Both Turner and Smith have steered the Chargers, who are 4-8 and have lost seven of their last eight games, in the wrong direction. Poor personnel decisions and curious coaching decisions have led to the team’s demise.
Before Norv Turner took over in 2007, the Chargers went from one of the most feared teams in the league to one of the biggest jokes in the league. San Diego has long been one of the more talented teams in the league, but it regularly has nothing to show for it.
