Manchester Essex survived its toughest test of the season and still came away with a 3-2 win improving to 15-0 on the season. The Hornets jumped out to an early lead with wins by No. 1 singles Michelle Fuca and No. 3 singles Eliza Rohner as both came away with straight set wins. Lynnfield, however, came right back to tie with wins at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles shortly after.
That set the stage for no. 1 doubles match where Rachel Daley and Molly Carlson of Manchester Essex had to go to a decisive third set after dropping the second set 6-0. The No. 1 double tandem, however, came back to win the third set 6-0 and kept the Hornets unbeaten record intact.
