---- — GHS Football Mattress Fundraiser
The Gloucester Football Team will be sponsoring its Second Annual Mattress Fundraiser on July 20 at the Benjamin A. Smith Fieldhouse. All proceeds will go toward offsetting user fees.
Name brand mattress sets (Symbol, Restonic, and Therapedic) will be sold at 30 percent to 60 percent below retail prices. One manufacturer has won the Consumer Digest Best Buy Award and Women’s Choice Award for the eighth consecutive year. These are all top quality mattresses of all sizes and prices with full factory warranties. Delivery is available. Floor models will be displayed at Gloucester High School on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale is one day only.
Youth Flag Football
The Cape Ann Pee Wee Football League is holding a six-week flag football session for 5- to 8-year-olds. The program will run at 6 p.m. Fridays at O’Maley Schoolfrom July 19 to Aug. 23.
The program will feature 30 to 45 minutes of drills and 30 to 45 minutes of a flag football game.

Little Kids Track
Little Kids track has begun at the O’Maley School Track. The program, begins at 6 p.m., is for kids ages 5 to 8, 9- and 10-year-olds are also welcome. The program, part of Get Fit Gloucester, features multiple track and conditioning events; there is no charge.
Seacoast Seven Mile Road Race
Registration is open for the Seacoast Seven Mile Road Race, which will take place on July 20 at Stage Fort Park. Registration is available online at seacoastseven.com; applications are also available at the Lone Gull Coffee House and Palazola’s Sporting Goods on Main Street.
Cape Ann Pee Wee Football Registration
Cape Ann Pee Wee Football and Cheerleading registration is open. Please contact your organizations to sign up while spots are available. New players of all ages should email CAPWFB@googlegroups.com.
Manchester Essex Lacrosse Clinic
Manchester Essex will be holding its first ever summer lacrosse clinic for players age 8 to14 at Hyland Field from Aug. 12 to 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. The clinic offers existing players and those interested in the game of lacrosse with a fun, local and unique approach to learning fundamental skills and team concepts.
Manchester Essex Varsity Lacrosse Coach John McCavanagh will run the clinic along with assistant coaches Joe Gergino and Steve Driscoll.

Endicott Soccer Camp
The Endicott College men’s soccer program will be hosting its first JUST PLAY Residential Camp for high school-aged boys players from Aug. 2 to 4 on campus in Beverly. GPD Relief Association Wrestling Event
The Gloucester Police Relief Association will sponsor a “USWF Wrestling Show” on Friday, July 19, 7 p.m., at Talbot Rink, 32 Cherry St. The association is publishing its yearbook and will be soliciting businesses and residents. Proceeds support the betterment of the organization. This is the only association soliciting businesses and residents exclusively for the Gloucester Police Relief Association.
