Fletcher Fires Back
The Pittsburgh Steelers, always a team to run their mouths, had the Patriots in their sites this week after the Super Bowl loss. Linebacker James Harrisson tweeted, "Told you, cheaters never win!!!!!!!!!."
Clark also brought up spygate in his tweets saying, "0-2 post spy gate! Just saying!! Cant spell ELIte w/o Eli!!."
But Patriots linebacker Dane Fletcher is firing back pointing out how both of them are dirty players given the fines they rack up. Fletcher tweeted, "Hilarious how some people judge others, calling them "cheaters" when they are amongst the top in the league for dirty plays #growup."
Fletcher is right, Harrison is a head hunter while Clark has never hit a man who was looking in his entire career. And Harrison and Clark still can't match the Patriots success, or beat them when it matters. Guess that's why they talk so much.
Vikings honored
The Rockport hockey team had five players named to the Commonwealth Athletic Conference All Star team this week.
Junior goalie Colby Foster was the most notable All Star as he was also named the All League goalie.
Junior forward Conor Douglass, junior forward Mike Tupper, senior forward Beau Gauthier and junior defenseman Jon Ferrante were also named All Stars while junior defenseman Kyle Edmonds was awarded the CAC Sportsmanship Award.
