End for KG?

Midway through this lockout-shortened NBA season, rumors ran wild about the breakup of the Celtics' Big Three.

Well, Kevin Garnett may be making his own plans for his future as was reported by nba.com's Steve Aschburner.

According to a league source, Garnett's inspired play after moving to center may be his way of making a proud exit from the Association.

"The chance to leave 'em wanting more might be his plan," the source said. "I think that's what we've been seeing in these playoffs. The way he's been playing, it's like he wants to go out on his terms."

Garnett's contract expires this summer.

DUI No. 2

Jacksonville Jaguars first-round draft pick Justin Blackmon was being held on $1,000 bail yesterday after he was arrested by Stillwater, Texas police on an aggravated DUI charge, authorities said.

"We are aware of the report and are gathering information," Jaguars spokesman Dan Edwards said. "We don't have any comment at this time."

Blackmon was previously arrested on a DUI charge in Texas in 2010 after officers caught him speeding on a suburban Dallas highway.

He told reporters after the arrest that he made a mistake and took full responsibility for it.

"I'm embarrassed to be in this position," Blackmon said. "I'm truly sorry to my family, to my friends and to Oklahoma State all together. I look forward to redeeming myself and proving to everybody that this isn't who I am. I'm not this guy. I'm humbled by this experience and I will grow from it."
