GHS Boys Lacrosse Fundraiser

The GHS Boys Lacrosse team is selling coupon books with over $500 worth of savings throughout Cape Ann with additional on line savings. The cost is $20 per book. The books contain coupons for Windward Grill, Blue Marlin, Jalapeno’s, Sugar Magnolia’s, Gloucester Depot, The Farm Bar & Grill, and Latitude 43, as well as Sports Authority and Lakeview Golf Course, Sagamore Spring Golf, Wenham Country Club and Beverly Golf & Tennis, plus many on line deals.

Flag Football Tournament

Teams are wanted for The Inaugural O’Maley Spring Flag Football Game, which will take place on May 18 at Nate Ross Field with all proceeds going to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. Cost is $10 per player, donations are also welcome.

Games will be played 5-on-5 format, sideline to sideline.

Northeast Football Clinics

Governor’s Academy is hosting Northeast Football Clinics this summer.

The clinic (no contact) specializes in quarterbacks and receivers, and also linemen, and linebackers for boys entering grades 6-12. It will take place from July 5-7.

GPD Relief Association Wrestling Event

The Gloucester Police Relief Association will sponsor a “USWF Wrestling Show” on Friday, July 19, 7 p.m., at Talbot Rink, 32 Cherry St. The association is publishing its yearbook and will be soliciting businesses and residents. Proceeds support the betterment of the organization. This is the only association soliciting businesses and residents exclusively for the Gloucester Police Relief Association.
