Three players to watch
Chris Unis, Sr., TE/DE: The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Division 1 college prospect is itching to start the season after missing most of last year due to injury. He has good hands as a pass catcher and delivers bone-crushing blocks and defensive hits.
Andrew Mizzoni, Sr., OT/DE: The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder plays on the opposite end of Unis defensively, forming one of the most potent pass rush combos in the state. Mizzoni comes in bigger than the 185 pounds he played at last year, when he had an outstanding season.
Joseph Avila, Sr., QB: Avila won the starting spot in a tightly-contested battle with fellow senior Alex Silveira. The 5-foot-8, 160-pounder has never attempted a varsity pass and has big shoes to fill left behind from last year's QB Brett Cahill, who threw for12 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
