B’s vs. Habs
The Bruins will be playing their third game in four nights tonight at TD Garden against the rival Montreal Canadiens (7 p.m., NESN).
The Bruins are currently in first place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 34-15-3 (71 points). Montreal, on the other hand, has hit the skids as of late dropping to fourth place in the Atlantic with a record of 28-20-5 (61 points).
Tonight’s matchup could be a playoff preview, if the postseason were to begin today the Bruins would draw the rival Canadiens.
In an ESPN player survey, NFL players say that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the most clutch quarterback in the NFL.
Players were told to answer the question, “Two-minute warning and the Super Bowl is on the line. Whom do you want at quarterback?” Brady received 128 votes to 86 for Manning. Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger rounded out the top five.
Brady has 30 career fourth quarter comebacks and has engineered a pair of fourth quarter, Super Bowl winning drives.
I’m sure Brady, however, would rather switch places with Manning right now in preparing for the Super Bowl and being named the second most clutch quarterback in the league.
Fans that have stuck out the Boston Celtcs’ season have likely been impressed at times by backup point guard Phil Pressey, who made the team as a rookie free agent.
But do you really want to be impressed? See him dunk.
Listed (generously) at 5-foot-11, Pressey has eye-popping jumping ability for his height.
Search “Phil Pressey dunk“ on Youtube.com and enjoy.
