The Hornets remain unbeaten (11-0) by winning a thriller against North Reading on Tuesday.
No. 2 singles player Sam Girian clinched a Manchester Essex win with a three-set win. Girian dropped the first set 1-6 but battled back to take the second set 7-5 and the third set 6-0.
No. 1 singles player Mike Fuca (6-4, 6-3) and the No. 2 doubles tandem of Colin Babikian and Josh Christopher (6-1, 7-6) also picked up wins for Manchester Essex.
Swampscott 5, Gloucester 0
The Fishermen (6-5) had their five match winning streak snapped Monday at the hands of the Northeastern Conference South leading Big Blue.
The No. 2 doubles tandem of George Black and Connor Adkins dropped a close match, as did Chris Wile at No. 2 singles.
Manchester Essex 5,Amesbury 0
The Hornets remain unbeaten at 12-0 with their 11th 5-0 win of the season.
Picking up wins for the Hornets were Brittany Collens at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-1), Michelle Fuca at No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-0), Kendall McCormick at No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-0), Rachel Daley and Chanel Bullock at No. 1 doubles (6-3, 6-0), and Molly Carlson and Avery St. Sauveur at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-1).
Manchester Essex 19
The Hornets move to 13-2 with the win. Brittany Smith had a monster day on the offensive end with nine goals and three assists. Carolyn Heslop had a goal, and assist and nine draw controls while Olivia Mastendino had a pair of goals and a pair of assists.
Marblehead 8, Gloucester 7
The Fishermen (3-10) took the Northeastern Conference North power Magicians to the limit on the road Tuesday but fell just one goal shy.
Trailing 8-3 entering the fourth quarter Gloucester scored four unanswered goals, but Marblehead was able to prevent Gloucester from getting the goal it needed to preserve the win. Austin Titus led the way for Gloucester with four goals. Ian Kennedy had a goal and three assists, Cormack Flickinger had a goal and an assist and Mike Falzarano had a goal.
Lynnfield 5 Manchester Essex 4
The Hornets nearly came back from a 4-0 deficit but left the tying run on base in the seventh. Sean Desmond and Liam Logue each had a pair of hits for Manchester Essex while Henry Gedney and Max Nesbit each had two RBI.
Gloucester 561/3 (Boys)
Gloucester finishes off the season at 5-2 while Marblehead was crowned Northeastern Conference champs with the win.
First place finishers for Gloucester were Noah Mondello (2-mile), Jacob Holscher (mile), Calvin Kipruto (400) and Pete Mondello (javelin).

Meghan Clark (800), Bianca Giacalone (200), Sabrina Marnoto (triple jump), Liz McCormack (shot put) and Hannah Pastagal (discus) turned in first place finishes for Gloucester.
