Belichick question of the day
In Bill Belichick’s daily press conference today he got one particular question he apparently didn’t like.
Q: “Is it important to emphasize to the players that this is a work week and not a week off?”
BB: “Nobody ever said it was a week off except for you. That’s the first time I’ve heard it. We’re here, there are things we can accomplish, things that we can do, things that we’re doing so that’s what we’re here for.”
Fit to be tied
Peyton Manning has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month Award for the sixth time in his career, tying him with Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers for most player of the month awards in league history.
Manning is also just one AFC Offensive Player of the Week award behind Tom Brady, the two have been tied on two occasions this season.
According to ESPN Stats and Info., the Cinicinnati Bengals have not won a playoff game since 1990. Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was just three years old at the time and every other franchise in the NFL has won a playoff game since.
The Buffalo Bills hold the league’s longest active streak without a playoff appearance as the Bills haven’t been to the postseason since 1999.
