Cape Ann Youth Lacrosse Adaptive Lacrosse Program
Cape Ann Youth Lacrosse has created an Adaptive Lacrosse Program designed to provide girls and boys with physical, learning and/or cognitive disabilities the chance to learn the game of lacrosse in an appropriate environment. The program will be open to participants ages 8-14.
The CAYL Adaptive Lacrosse Program is the first of its kind in Massachusetts and is open to all communities.
The program will be structured to have middle and high school lacrosse players from the local community area teamed as a “buddy” or “mentor” to each participant to assist in adapting the skills and teaching methods to the needs of each participant’s ability and specific requirements. Equipment and rules will also be modified if necessary.
Interested families may enroll through the Cape Ann Youth Lacrosse website at http://capeannyouthlacrosse.com. For further information please contact Karen Bell at bellkaren.@gmail.com or Thom Falzarano at thomfalzarano@me.com
