Driver, 91, hurt in Main Street crash

A 91-year-old driver was transported via ambulance from the scene Saturday afternoon after she apparently lost control of her vehicle and struck at least one parked car in front of the city police station on Main Street Saturday afternoon before her own vehicle came to rest on its roof.

Police responded to the accident at 3:55 p.m. on Saturday and Fire Department paramedics took the driver, identified as Beverly Quint of Rockport, to an area hospital.

Officers were still investigating the crash on Sunday and no further information was available as of press time.
