Manchester Police/Fire: Erratic driver eludes town police

Manchester Police/Fire

MANCHESTER — Police were unable to locate a reportedly erratic driver in the School Street area Tuesday about 6:52 p.m., after another town reported the erratic operator headed into Manchester.

A tractor trailer driver found himself stuck in his truck on Lincoln Street, after approaching the low overpass footbridge between the schools.

Realizing he needed to turn around, the driver blocked school traffic at 7 a.m. until police helped him navigate the turn and drive away.
