Essex Police/Fire: Small brush fire brings response

ESSEX — Police said there was a report of a small brush fire on Gregory Island Road Wednesday just past 7 p.m.

The fire was extinguished within minutes of firefighters arriving, police said.

Police said they responded to a report of an erratic motorist on Route 133 Wednesday just after 3:30 p.m., but officers said they could not find the vehicle when they arrived.
