Manchester Police/Fire: Rider injured in moped accident

MANCHESTER — Police said a motorist was transported to Beverly Hospital Tuesday at 10:13 p.m. following an accident involving a moped.

The accident occurred near Moses Hill Road, according to the police report. No further information was available Thursday.

A motor vehicle stop just after 6 p.m. on Beach Street Tuesday resulted in a Peabody man being issued a court summons for operating without valid license, police said. Juan Bright of Peabody will face that charge in district court.

A Wenham Way man called police Wednesday at 10:39 p.m. to report that someone had dumped trash on his property.
