According to a report on moorestuffonline.com, a Cape Ann online broadcast service, a man on the motorcyle suffered fatal injuries when he tried to swerve around a truck as it entered Fernwood Lake Avenue, lost control of his cycle, and hit the side of a UPS truck exiting Fernwood Lake.

The man’s identity is not being released. A witness, who tried to administer CPR, said the man had no pulse immediately following the accident. Police say the man’s family was apparently following in a vehicle not far behind the man’s Harley-Davidson when the accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m.
