Essex Police/Fire: Argument over leaving ends with no exit

ESSEX — A verbal spat between two people about who would leave ended with both staying put.

On Monday at 12:13 a.m., police responded to a report of a verbal argument on Spring Street.

Police said the argument involved someone who was refusing to leave the residence. The situation was ultimately resolved, and officers said both parties remained at the Spring Street home.

At 10:48 a.m. on Monday, police said a Story Street woman was taken to Beverly Hospital.
