Rockport Police/Fire: Police probe new round of vandalism

Rockport Police/Fire:

ROCKPORT — Police are investigating a new round of vandalism complaints filed over the weekend.

Saturday at 1:45 p.m., callers reported graffiti along the Front Beach wall and adjoining ramp as well as on Beach Street near Toad Hall Bookstore.

Fresh graffiti was also reported at the former Cape Ann Tool Co. site Thursday.

Saturday, a Sandy Bay Terrace resident reported someone had apparently tried to break into a car; police fielded the call at 12:42 p.m.
