Wednesday, July 3

Concert on the Boulevard, 5:30 p.m., Stacy Boulevard just east of the Blynman Bridge. The concert featuring bands Mystery Meat and Runaround Sound, will break when the parade goes by, pick up after it passes, and break again for the fireworks show. The concert will then continue for a half hour after the fireworks end.

Annual Horribles Parade, 6 p.m., from Gloucester High School, 32 Leslie O Johnson Road, out Centennial Avenue, swings left and proceeds along the harbor side of Western Avenue before winding through Tally’s Corner to Rogers Street. From there, it turns up Manuel F. Lewis Street, then heads left on Main Street and right onto Pleasant Street. The route then takes another left onto Prospect Street, and turns right up Railroad Avenue and right on Washington Street on the way back to Centennial Avenue and down to Gloucester High.
