Exploration of White House bid taking Moulton to Vegas

SALEM — As his exploration of a possible presidential run continues, Congressman Seth Moulton will visit Nevada this weekend to meet with Democratic veterans in Las Vegas and party activists in Clark County.

The trip to Nevada will be Moulton's first since announcing that he was thinking of running for the Democratic nomination for president and started visiting many of the early primary voting states. The Salem Democrat has already been to New Hampshire, South Carolina and Iowa.

Moulton on Friday plans to be in Las Vegas for a breakfast meeting with the Nevada Democratic Veterans Caucus and from there will visit the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Military and Veterans Center for a tour and campus discussion with veteran students.

He will finish the the day at the Vets Village of Las Vegas, according to his campaign, before traveling to Henderson, Nevada, on Saturday to make remarks at the Clark County Democrats Central Committee Meeting at a local high school.
