GLOUCESTER

Friday, April 19

1:21 a.m.: Police were summoned to the vicinity of Stones Pub on Main Street on report of a group of individuals fighting. The individuals were gone when police arrived.

Thursday, April 18

9:53 p.m.: Officer responded to Gould Court on report of a couple arguing loudly in the street. Peace was restored.

8:59 p.m.: Salem police contacted Gloucester police and requested they be on the lookout for an individual that had run away from a group home.

2:41 p.m.: Officers were summoned to Mattos Field on Webster Street on report of a vandalized bathroom. The Department of Public Works notified.

ROCKPORT 

Thursday, April 18

10:05 p.m.: Report of an erratic driver heading to Gloucester on Nugent Stretch. Officers alerted Gloucester Police Department about the driver. 

6:44 p.m.: A Granite Street resident reported the back bumper and rear quarter panel on their car was damaged. At the time it was damaged, the car was parked in the resident's driveway. The resident believes someone tried to turn their car around in the driveway and hit his car by accident. 

6:12 p.m.: A driver on Main Street received a verbal warning for a stop sign violation. 

10:24 a.m.: Medical emergency on Penzance Road. The person was transported by ambulance to Addison Gilbert Hospital. 

9:48 a.m.: Report of a two neighbors on Granite Street arguing over land lines. Officers at the scene spoke with both parties and determined it was a civil dispute. 

6:58 a.m.: Report of a beached seal on Long Beach. Officers at the scene said the seal was resting and uninjured. 

MANCHESTER

Thursday, April 18

3:08 a.m.: Medical emergency on Crooked Lane. The person was transported by ambulance to a hospital. 

8:53 and 8:58 a.m.: Two drivers on Pine Street received verbal warnings for speeding. 

 

9:07 a.m.: A driver on Pleasant Street received a verbal warning for a stop sign violation.

10:25 a.m.: A driver on Raymond Street received a verbal warning for an inspection sticker violation.

11:54 a.m.: A driver on Beach Street received a verbal warning for an inspection sticker violation and texting while driving.

3 p.m.: Medical emergency on Bridge Street. The person was transported by ambulance to a hospital. 

3:10 p.m.: Report of smoke in the area of Proctor Street. The Fire Department found the smoke was coming from an outdoor controlled burning. However, the person burning did not have a permit to do so, and the fire was put out.

4:57 p.m.: A driver on School Street received a verbal warning for speeding and having excessively tinted windows.

8:43 p.m.: Lifeline activation on School Street. The person refused ambulance transport to a hospital. 

ESSEX

Friday, April 19

6:59 a.m.: An officer came across a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street near the Energy North Group convenience store and stood by while the driver changed the tire. 

Thursday, April 20

11:17 p.m.: A motor vehicle was pulled over on Eastern Avenue because the Registry of Motor Vehicles reported the owner-operator's license to drive had been canceled. A different person was driving so no action was taken.

9:09 p.m.: An officer on patrol came across a car parked in the lot at a closed business on Western Avenue. When the officer checked, she found two people lying down in car. She told them to move date night elsewhere. 

3:01 p.m.: Two people came in to discuss a situation regarding a court case, reporting another person involved wanted one of them to not testify. Police say that person will be summonsed to court on a charge of witness intimidation.

9 a.m.: The rescue squad was called to a Chebacco Terrace home where they gave a gentleman a lift assist. He did not require medical treatment.
