The U.S. Coast Guard will hold an open house at Station Gloucester at 7 Harbor Loop on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Explore the mission of the station's first responders with an array of demonstrations, activities, music and much more.

Gloucester High School's jazz band, the Docksiders, will hold annual Swing Dance, its final event of the season, this Saturday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 9 Dale Ave. Admission is $5, and snacks will be available. Go to dance or just sit and enjoy an evening of music. 

 

 

Cape Ann Symphony presents "From the New World and Beyond," featuring Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist Lucia Lin and cellist Owen Young and composers Miklos Rozsa and Antonin Dvorak. Concerts are Saturday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Manchester Essex Regional High School Auditorium, 36 Lincoln St., Manchester, and Sunday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at the Dolan Performing Arts Center at Ipswich High School, 134 High St.
