The Rockport softball team hosted its first postseason game since 2014 on Sunday in the First Round of the Division 5 State Tournament. Unfortunately for the No. 11 Vikings, they ran into a hot pitcher in Madison McDermott from Douglas, the No. 22 seed.

The Gloucester boys tennis team earned its second straight Northeastern Conference Lynch Division title this spring with a 12-5 overall record. As a result, the Fishermen were well represented on the conference All-Star team with three players honored by the league.
